Recordist's notes
A sunny Allotment-garden near the tiny River Aase in Hamm/ Westfalen. Many African people, their friends and families are gathering, eating, drinking, dancing, and perhaps meeting each other for the first time. It’s the “know me, I know you” party of the newly-formed Yes Africa Verein. The founders and board members of the organization Nelli Foumba Saomaoro and Yemi Ojo introduce themselves and the organization and welcome everybody to get involved. While the party is getting into full swing, Nelli makes a couple of interviews with members and guests. Two samples are presented here.
