Recordist's notes

Recorded from a continuous audio steam set up at this location in a low bush and left overnight until the following morning. After dark no birds sang. One plane passes overhead. The background drone is the area's constant traffic. The close sounds are rain drops falling on dead leaves and wind ruffling through the undergrowth. Despite the rain the leaves are very dry and crackly. The movements heard trace sharp gusts of wind at ground level.
