Recordist's notes
Also recorded from the continuous stream. The rain has stopped but the gusty wind continues. Traffic is still the background drone. Planes fly above. The birds sound distant, but a nuthatch and great tits are calling. Later robins, a blackbird, chaffinch and chiffchaff sing. Tram wheels squealing from the valley below create a high-pitched tone. A freight train rumbles past on the track very close to the microphones.
