Recordist's notes

Heading west, returning to the depot in Abilene, after a trip to Enterprise. Riding on an excursion train: inside a 1902 wooden KATY (Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad) passenger car, pulled by a 1945 ALCO S-1 diesel engine (former Hutchinson & Northern RR). Host Steve Smethers provides local history. Right mic placed near open window. Stereo mics (Audiotalaia-Primo ECM 172), recorded via Olympus LS-10.
