Recordist's notes

Late evening recording at Birchen Copse on the edge of Woodcote. The recording is underpinned by the movement of the woodland canopy in the wind, the quiet rumbling drone of traffic on the A4074, trains on the Reading to Oxford mainline and planes high overhead. Piercing this are the rustles of small animals nearby, the creaking of trees in the breeze and an owl further into the woodland. Recorded using a spaced pair of Sennheiser 8020s at head height on an SD788T.
