Recordist's notes
Nestled on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in Woodcote, South Oxfordshire is St Leonard's Church. It is flanked by the Reading and South Stoke Roads, the more distant A4074 and the next door farm. It is the ebb and flow of natural and man-made sounds enveloping the congregational singing that made this section of the recording stand out.
