Recordist's notes

The wind blowing through the birch woodland, distant train, plane and traffic noise predominate. Less obvious is the constant high pitch popping sound of bubbles on the surface of the pond. The occasional quacking of a duck, creaking of trees in the breeze and train whistle from the mainline down the hill in Goring and Pangbourne can also be heard. A car from Long Toll turns into Greenmore at the end of the recording. Tech notes: spaced pair of Sennheiser 8020s at head height recorded onto SD788T with no post-pro.
