Recordist's notes
This recording was made inside the Octagon: an old, Octagonal structure built by the Freemasons. Kids play, wind blows, fire burns, traffic passes way below at the bottom of the valley along the N11. The recorder is a lovely old wooden one belonging to Jeff. Lower notes are harder to get, and the wind kept blowing into the microphones, so the recording's not pristine. You can hear the strange acoustic of the Octagon. Recorded with the EDIROL R09.
