Recordist's notes
The Parc du Chateau is on a hill to the east of Nice's beaches. To get up there you can either trek up the stairs or road, or you can take the lift. This recording was made (with a ZOOM H1) on the lift journey down from the hill top to street level. When you exit the lift you walk down a tiled passage and this was filled with a long queue of people waiting to use the lift.
About the place
