Recordist's notes

There is talk of Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers in this location, ( I didn't see one). I spent the second of two mornings in this wonderful wood listening to Greater Spotted Woodpeckers drumming, it is their time I think. Sony M10 inside a parabolic reflector, an unedited recording including me making adjustments and rustling about.
