Recordist's notes
This is the sound of many chicks in a small pen with food, water and a light. This recording was made on a public lambing day on the farm, and several people from the farm are there to look after the animals and also to show people how to hold them. So an opportunity to hold a baby chick! It's so beautiful and everyone is so charmed by the very appealing little chicks. I love their wee sounds - it is the sound of spring! Recorded with Naiant X-X omnidirectional microphones lowered into the pen.
