Berkshire sow and piglets

This is the sound of a lovely Berkshire sow and her piglets in a field. These pigs are free range and get to snuffle about in the grass all day, but the little ones are very demanding, and constantly harassing mum for milk. When I was hanging out and listening, she didn't seem of a mind to give them any, and kept rounding on them to try and get them off her teats. The little squeals are the noises of baby pigs being shunted out of the way by their slightly grumpy mama, who just seemed to want to rootle in the mud in peace without the constant demands of the tiny piglets (who can blame her). It was amazing to hear the little squealy noises of the babies.
