Recordist's notes
This recording was taken whilst walking around the lighthouse on the most northerly point of Pelee Island. Pelee is the southern-most location in Canada. During the walk, you can here the variety of crashing waves onto the rocks and some splashing over them onto a gravel trail. This was recorder on 27 August 2023, at 11:00AM. It was a hot 24c with no clouds in the sky, and a slight breeze from the north. The constant sound of the water is the constant soundscape of the island on Lake Erie.
