Pelee Island, Fishpoint

This recording was done with a Zoom H2n mic. It was taken on Pelee Island's most southern tip, at Fishpoint, a natural heritage reserve. Pelee is an island in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in the western half of Lake Erie. Pelee is the largest island in Lake Erie and the southernmost populated point in Canada. The recording, taken on 27 August 2023, captures the soundscape of tree frogs around a shallow pond, with intermittent sounds of a bell swaying in the breeze. The day was a hot (26c), humid day.
