Recordist's notes
Arriving at the field in June the amount of growth in the grasses was extraordinary. In the old river bed the grasses were over a metre tall and were clustered on the bank of the River Exe. we spent a lot of time with them listening to the way they reacted in the wind. This was recorded using a Roland R-26 and an Audio Technica BP-4029 with a Röde blimp and dead-cat.
