Recordist's notes
This is the sound of the lovely Town Hall clock in Lerwick, Shetland, chiming its chime and striking eleven at night. It was recorded last Shetland Wool Week, from across the road. You can hear the late night traffic drifting along the street, and some of the very light rain. It's a bit of a hissy recording, for which I apologise, but I wanted to record the sound of the bells as I heard it from the place in which we were staying on King Harald Street, and because the bells are far away, there is quite a bit of white noise in the recording.
