Recordist's notes

This recording covers the walk from the spot marked on the map, through the spaces between apartments blocks to busy Princenstrasse. Jays squawk in the tree tops and my footsteps shuffle through dry fallen leaves. There are distance shouts from the nearby Lobecksportsplatz, which always seems busy. These green spaces between the buildings were once completely accessible. However they are now crossed by a maze of dark green wire fences. It's often hard, if not impossible, to find a way through. On this occasion I had to almost retrace my steps to get out.
