Recordist's notes
After visiting the Croft House Museum, I was so struck to see sheep grazing right beside the sea that I wanted to document the maritime sonic texture of the situation. Seabirds are a huge feature of the soundscape in Shetland, and I think in this recording, what you can hear are Terns and Oystercatchers. Recorded with Audio Technica BP4029 and FOSTEX FR-2LE.
