Recordist's notes

A quiet wet day. A fire engine suddenly passes then Belle Vue Terrace returns to normal traffic, the sound of the crossing tone and general ambient audio. I recorded this by placing my rucksack with the recorder and mics on the footpath at the base of the crossing sign and hoped something would happen. MixPre 6 II with 2 Sennheiser MKH 8020s. 32bit x 48k. This was tricky to convert to 24bit and mp3 and required some level changes but that was the only post-processing.
