Recordist's notes
This is a collage of sounds all recorded yesterday on an Olympus LS 14 as we walked from the Katfygio (Refuge Hut) to Ploskos at 2397m in the Tymfi range of mountains. There was a fair breeze and glorious sunshine. We made our way through the limestone pavements and rock rivers, sounding like crockery. We could hear Rock Pippits, Choughs (please correct me if wrong)and in the distance some chamois descending from the climbers peak (the real peak is inaccessible to all but the insane!
Context
This recording was made away from larger towns, about 36 km from the nearest city in our gazetteer.
