Recordist's notes
I had a lovely conversation with Hannah Sofaer who remembers Joe from his creative conversations radio broadcasts; we spoke about Joe and about my interest in retracing his steps. She thought I should make a recording explaining some of this and so I did try. I probably should have had the mic a bit closer to me, but the hall is so amazing and I wanted to capture more of the resonance of the space, the traffic outside. I hope you can still hear me trying to explain myself.
