Recordist's notes
Recorded from an audio stream left overnight at this location. The mics were hidden in a thick bramble bush. The recording starts as a nice morning atmosphere with distance bell. A lesser whitethroat and blackbird are singing. The nightingale sings very close by (would not happen if the recordist was personally present). It seems as if we are listening from his perspective. Around 7min30 dogs and (human) dog walkers pass by chatting. Again I get the rather odd impression that I'm hearing what the nightingale is hearing. He does pause slightly, maybe just checking, before singing again.
