Recordist's notes

Eunice Mwinde interviews a member of a VSnL group in Chinonge Ward (VSnL = Village Saving and Lending). They speak in the local language, ChiTonga. The woman describes the formation of a group of 6 women in 2014. The group entertains a collective project of sewing uniforms and then also included sewing African attire from fashion fabrics. Eunice asks her to describe how they share their work in the group and the benefits the women got from their business. Eunice enquires about the training they received via Zubo workshops to built up their business. The woman describes. a recording from the radio project "Women documenting women stories" with Zubo Trust. Zubo Trust is a women’s organization in Binga Zimbabwe bringing women together for self-empowerment. http://www.zubo.org
