Recordist's notes

This is the sound of wool being prepared for wool-spinning at the Natural Fibre Company. Unlike the worsted-spun yarns, wool-spun yarns are prepared by being carded before being spun. At the end of the massive carding machine, the wool is divided into small sections and then rubbed between boards to produce fine tops. These tops will then be spun and plied to create lovely, bouncy, woollen-spun yarns.
