Recordist's notes
This is the sound of traveling on a vintage steam engine from the 1930s, made in Basingstoke. This amazing engine is powered entirely by steam, and what you can hear are the cogs and pistons turning, and the hiss of the steam and the fire. The steam whistle sounds when pressure created by steam forces air up through it.
