Recordist's notes
This is the sound of the baling machine, which is a massive mechanism, mounted on a trailer, attached to a tractor. It lifts up a bale of straw and then tightly wraps it in plastic; the whirring sound is of the arms stretching and wrapping plastic tightly around the bale. It is a slightly terrifying and very noisy sound, but also I imagine this device to be essential when it comes time to bale up the straw.
