Recordist's notes
A typical bustling weekend morning at this popular waterfront park north of Seattle. A constant stream of characters come and go while birds fight over their leftovers. This was the start of a series (Anode Urban Soundscape Series) of phonographic recordings, made with my new Sony MZ-R30 digital MiniDisc recorder, and dubbed to Compact Disc. Major elements: * SCUBA divers preparing to dive on Edmonds' underwater park * Cars and trucks (mostly old) coming in, parking, and leaving * Two ferries docking in the distance and unloading * Construction work underway on the new ferrydock * Seagulls, pigeons and crows * A bicyclist coasting through * A man walking past with an aluminum cane See also: https://anode1.bandcamp.com/album/auss2-edmonds-waterfront
