Recordist's notes

Recorded from my AirB&B window in this quiet, middle class, green part of Braunschweig. This back garden is mostly a car park, but others around are full of trees and carefully chosen plants. There is a good variety of birds and their springtime song is a constant part of the soundscape, along with nicely distant cars and trams plus the voices and activities from neighbouring apartments. The closest blackbird seems to be conversing with one in the distance. Their phrases both allow each other time to be heard in the spaces between.
