Recordist's notes
The thickly wooded side of Prinzenpark contains a narrow ravine/valley with a path along the bottom. The geography makes it one of the few Braunschweig place where there is no traffic noise. Planes sometimes fly above but it is an unusually quiet spot. Joggers and dog walkers pass by, but most of the sound is birds song. A nuthatch taps at a tree, great tits, blackbirds and chaffinches sing a woodpecker calls, a jay squawks harshly. It feels strangely enclosed.
