Recordist's notes

The morning rush here is often loud. When standing here all ones sees is trees, but the city constantly makes itself felt with the never-ending the roar, which rises and falls with the time of day but is always present. The great tits are very close one can hear their movements as well as their calls. A goshhawk chutters further away. A building site creates industrial percussion in the distance. A blackbird signals alarm, a plane flies and trams squeal. Berlin's urban wildlife sonic mix.
