Recordist's notes

Franeker is a very old town that used to have a planetarium. Eise Elsinga was a son of a poor wool woolcomber. Although he was very intelligent, he was not aloud to go to nschool: he had to work. In his free hours he studied mathematics and astronomics. At the age of 15 he published a 650 pages book on mathematics and in 1774-1781 he build a planetarium in his living roomn. It is a wonderfull constructuion of our solar system and very very accurate for many centuries by now. This is the sound of the heart of the mechanism. The clockwork
