Recordist's notes

The owls return this time quietly for the first few minutes then much closer either in the apple tree or behind the recorder in the tall Leylandii. No effects of any kind. This excerpt from an overnight recording begins at 4.05AM just as the ambient sounds are increasing. 32bit x 48khz MixPre 6 II with 2 Sennheiser MKH 8020s on a chair covered with Geotextile on the wooden deck by the pond facing south.
