Recordist's notes
The mics are outside a high bedroom window facing east and at the start the owls and the truck are on either side of the house giving an exaggerated stereo effect. The frog is 25m away on the garden pond directly ahead. The owls fly into the birch tree in front of the mics and other owls are in the vicinity. Distant sounds come from the Severn Valley a few miles away. Muntjac and another unidentified animal are heard. Near the end I can be identified asleep close to the open window. This was recorded at 3.36AM and is part of an unmanipulated overnight capture. 32bit x 48khz with a MixPre 6 II with 2 Sennheiser MKH 8020s in my home made faux fur wind cover resting on the slope of the roof.
