Recordist's notes
Just as we arrived in our place at Antibes, all the bells in the locale started to ring. It was just after four, a Saturday afternoon. I was unpacking my stuff, and Mark's boys were doing the same downstairs. I set up the EDIROL R-09 beside an open window, so as to capture a little snippet of the lovely bells. You can just about hear us talking in the background, my suitcase zip, and the swifts (or perhaps swallows, I'm not sure?) circling in the air after the bells have stopped ringing and the sound has completely died away.
