Recordist's notes
The sunset at 18.31pm and most of the woodland birds slowly quietened. However the water birds seems guided by other cycles and are active through the night. Geese still shout and fly around and cranes become much more noticeable. The lakes are close to the Braunschweig and the area is heavily crossed by railways and autobahns. The constant droning bass created by traffic is easily heard at night. It never stops.
